About the Counselor, Christina Hall

christina hall My name is Christina Hall and I’m so excited to be the Counselor at Carlisle Elementary and Middle School!

I have provided counseling services for the Southwest
School Corporation for the last six years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Indiana State University. I have been working in the mental health field for the last sixteen years and have worked in various areas including community mental health, home based therapy, private practice, and school counseling. I currently have a private practice in addition to providing counseling services for the Southwest School Corporation. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and am a National Certified Counselor. I have specific training in suicide prevention, mental health first aid, bullying prevention, and extensive training with childhood and adult trauma.

Southwest School Corporation is working diligently to expand our counseling services and provide a comprehensive counseling program for grades K-12. Our vision is to ensure that all students are socially and emotionally healthy, have the opportunity to experience academic success, and acquire career readiness in a safe and caring environment. Our goal is to provide support and services to empower the students, parents, school staff, and community.

At Carlisle, counseling services include short-term individual counseling, group
counseling, classroom guidance lessons, and crisis evaluations. In addition to these services, I am happy to consult with parents and assist with community referrals as needed.

Please feel free to contact me any time with questions, comments, or concerns
regarding your child or Carlisle’s counseling program. You can call the school at 812-398-3851 or email me at chall@swest.k12.in.us.
