PTO NEWS:

Next Meeting: Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 3:15pm

The PTO is providing Birthday Grams again this year.  There are two options available for purchase.  A $1 BG includes personalized message and sucker.  The $5 BG includes personalized message, balloon, and choice of candy bar. Orders must be placed ONE WEEK PRIOR to delivery date!  Order forms are available in the office or online.  We will deliver to students and staff.

The PTO will be selling spirit wear they have on hand.  This will make nice last minute Christmas gifts!  Unfortunately, they will not be taking any new orders.

SCHOOL NEWS:

Reminder:  No athlete (ball player, cheerleader, or dance team) should be at the school for home games before 5pm.  The doors are unlocked at 5pm.

The 8th grade is selling Carlisle Indian buttons.  They are $2 each.  They are also selling poms for $3.  You can purchase them in the office or at the home basketball games.

 CARLISLE SPORTS

Please remember:  Students are not to stay in the building after school for any reason unless supervised by a coach or designated adult.  For home games, no athlete (ball player, cheerleader, dance team) should be at school before 5pm.  Doors will be unlocked at 5pm.

ATTENDANCE – what to do when your child is absent

For your child’s absence to be excused, you must phone in first thing in the morning to the school office 812-398-3851 or email cking@swest.k12.in.us.  Also, send in a doctor’s excuse upon return (if they went to a doctor, dentist, etc.).  Emailing your teacher is fine as a courtesy to the teacher but the office needs to be called so they can be excused.
